The Trumansburg Train Station, August 1941 - A Diorama

UHS has recently received a donation of a remarkable reproduction of the Trumansburg railroad station and surroundings, exactly as they were on an August morning in 1941. Steve Peck, who spent countless hours researching and building this model, will speak about its construction and about the role of the railroad in travel and business for small towns like Trumansburg. After the presentation, visit the diorama in our downstairs exhibit area.
